NV Mandelic Acid is a blend of actives encapsulated in biopolymeric nanoparticles with an average particle diameter greater than 200 nm and with an enzymatic release trigger. Mandelic Acid when used in free form, at its active pH, can cause burning and flaking generating discomfort in the skin. The extended release system developed by Nanovetores Technology, NV Mandelic Acid, is a safe and high-efficacy alternative in skin renewal, and makes its use more comfortable for the consumer.

Mandelic Acid is an alpha hydroxyacid (AHA) used in skin treatments, especially photoaging, irregular hyperpigmentation and acne. The acid promotes alteration of intercellular connections, reducing cohesion between the corneocytes, descamation of the corneal layer and stimulation of cell production1,2,3. It is indicated for cases of hyperpigmentation, because the product acts in inhibiting melanin synthesis and melanin already deposited on the surface of the epidermis, aiding in the removal of hyperchromic pigments. It can also be used to stimulate cell removal and in the removal of the photoaged corneal cover.
